Christmas card perfect is this view of Lake Tahoe. What a beautiful drive I had this past Wednesday to Minden, Nevada via the north and eastern shores of Lake Tahoe. 
This is the view just below the pass going into Carson City (named for Kitt Carson the pioneer), Nevada. There was snow as far as you could see into Nevada and from Minden all the way to Reno. It snowed on Sunday but the air remained so cold 2 degrees Lake level and 18 in Nevada, that nothing melted.
I had a chance to take an afternoon off to visit Skylake Ranch, the inlaws of my niece, Sarah. It was a wonderful party and the theme was Winter White.
